Torchiez Fresh Baked Apple Crisp
Torchiez Fresh Baked Apple Crisp 76 is a sativa–dominant strain with it’s genetics connected to the sweet tasting cake family, however aside from that information we were unable to find much else. It describes the aroma and flavour as a combination of gassy warm sweet cream and subtle hints of spice. The buds are dense, bright colour and covered in a layer of trichomes that resembles frosting. The product arrived from Ogen in a plastic container that resembled a spice jar. We popped open the lid and were met with a delicious smell that matched the name nicely. Very strong aroma that reminded us of something like fresh flowers and sweet bread. This smell is the kind that makes you want to eat the buds right out of the container.
Fresh Baked Apple Crisp has a nice appearance and seemed relatively fresh even though no humidity pack was in the container. The buds themselves were small but loaded with colour. There were plenty of orange hairs covering these bright green buds which also had a nice trichome layer. While some of the buds were a tad stemmy and leafy, for the most part they were fine. This product is suppose to have it’s origins in the cake family, it’s hard to tell but there could be some similarities with wedding cake. Torchiez Fresh Baked Apple Crisp
We thought the flavour profile might follow the aroma with a similar sweet floral, but we actually found this strain had more of a sweet gassy taste that hit hard and had a wonderful flavour. Interestingly, both the gas and floral elements of this flower seem equally balanced when you inhale. Compared to other cake strains like Qwest’s Papaya Cake, we definitely prefer Freshly Baked.
It has 23.0% THC content. It delivers a strong but not overpowering high. Which includes a combination of mental clarity that has uplifting and a mild body buzz focuse around the face. Overall the high was nice but the product cost seems a bit expensive. If you’re looking for a nice daytime sativa, this might be one to check.
